TOE TO TOE is the story of a love/hate relationship between Tosha and Jesse, two senior girls at a competitive D.C. prep school. Tosha is an African- American scholarship student from Anacostia and Jesse is a privileged but troubled white girl from Bethesda. TOE TO TOE is steeped in D.C. culture and inspired by the distributing fact that interracial friendships end at age 14 for 87% of American teenagers.
